How CODGuessr works
Every round drops you a screenshot captured somewhere in Verdansk, the battle royale map that launched with Call of Duty: Warzone in 2020 and returned in 2025. Your job is to work out where the camera was standing, then click that point on the map.
Reading a screenshot
Landmarks do most of the work, and Verdansk's are visible from a long way off: the Dam in the snowy northwest, the Quarry in the northeast, the Airport control tower out west, the Stadium and the Downtown high-rises through the middle, and the cranes and stacked containers of the Port in the southeast. When nothing recognizable is in frame, fall back on terrain — snow in the northwest, open farmland to the east, dense city blocks toward the south.
Scoring
Each of the three rounds is worth up to 1,000 points. A round scores 1,000 minus the distance between your pin and the true location, so a perfect guess banks the full 1,000 and a wild one floors at zero. A flawless game is 3,000.
