What to look for
Inside the terminal the giveaway hangs overhead: a red and white Cyrillic ВЫХОД exit sign above the concourse, with rows of pale green departure seating, a counter running along one side, and heavy concrete columns pitted with bullet strikes. The light is low and warm against bare concrete, so terminal frames read far darker than anything outside. From the apron the control tower and the long flat terminal roof stand alone above completely open ground. One of Verdansk's largest landmarks, the Airport has a wide runway exposed to sniper fire, several hangars packed with loot, a control tower with panoramic sightlines, and dense adjacent apartment complexes. The open runway creates vulnerability, so control of interiors is essential for defensive play. Maintenance areas and nearby roads offer diverse rotate options for squads.
