Downtown - Verdansk
A named point of interest in the south of Verdansk, the Call of Duty: Warzone battle royale map.
What to look for
Verdansk's high-rise core, and the only part of the map with genuine skyscrapers, a cluster of glass and concrete towers standing far above everything around them. They are visible across most of the southern half of the map, which makes them as useful for orienting from elsewhere as for identifying a frame taken among them. At street level the blocks are regular: wide avenues, crossings, stalled traffic and shopfronts. Verdansk's dense urban core with skyscrapers, narrow alleys, and complex vertical gameplay options. Interiors are maze-like with rooftop sniper positions dominating firefights. The layout suits trap-heavy, aggressive squads thriving on chaos and close-quarters combat. A screenshot taken at street level here rarely shows much sky, because the towers close the horizon on every side.
